This is the official home for our book ‘Beginning Google Maps Applications with PHP and Ajax: From Novice to Professional‘ that is due to be published by Apress in August 2006.
Aside from promoting our book we hope that this site will become a resource for all Google Maps developers as we try to discuss the changes that Google makes over the life of the book as well as related technologies like geocoders, sources of raw data and mathematics.
We are Cameron Turner, Jeffrey Sambells and Michael Purvis. We came together and honed our mashup skills at We-Create Inc. where we have built quite a few professional mashups for our clients (in addition to some awesome web software). We-Create Inc. works closely with Mike Pegg of Google Maps Mania to develop maps that our clients ask for.
